Today, my focus is specifically on helping Americans and Canadians trace their roots back to England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland — not only identifying who your ancestors were in these places, but exploring the journeys that brought them across the Atlantic to start new lives in North America.

Genealogical research is offered in three ways, depending on what you need:
By the hour — for a specific question, a document search, or ongoing research with an open scope. Digital or in person research options available.
Family Tree Compilation — fixed-price packages tracing multiple generations, delivered as a documented pedigree chart.
Bespoke commissions — for larger or more complex projects: additional generations, multiple family branches, or research combined with narratives and travel.

Every commission begins the same way — with a no-obligation conversation to understand your project and what you're hoping to find. From there, I'll recommend the right approach and give you a clear estimate before any work begins.
Rigorous, source-based research tracing three generations of your family, from parents back to great-grandparents. For each relative, I document (where found) dates and locations of birth, marriage and death in online records across the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA. Delivered as a fully-sourced digital tree of up to 14 ancestors, as a PDF or GEDCOM file.
A search for digitally available records across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Canada, or the USA — census, civil, parish and other records. If a record is found, I'll supply a digital copy or transcription. If nothing turns up, I'll share the exact search strategy used, so you can continue the search yourself with that in hand - £35 per research hour. If applicable, document and access fees are billed separately, at cost.
Rigorous, source-based research tracing four generations of your family, from parents back to great-great-grandparents. For each relative, I document (where found) dates and locations of birth, marriage and death in online records across the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA. Delivered as a fully-sourced digital tree of up to 30 ancestors, as a PDF or GEDCOM file.
England, Wales, or Scotland: if your own research has taken you as far as it can from home, let me pick it up from there. I'll personally visit physical archives to locate and retrieve the specific records you need, on your behalf, so you don't have to - £45.00 per research hour, plus any travel charges, booked separately using the buttons below. If applicable, archive access and copying fees are billed separately, at cost.
No travel charge for research visits in the Oxfordshire area.
