Born in America, I've lived in Germany and have called the UK home for many years. I'm fascinated by history, drawn to researching the stories behind it, and pulled along by the sense of discovery.
My genealogy journey started several years ago with a single question: where did my middle name, Wymark, actually come from? That search — through my English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, German, Canadian, and American family lines — pulled me deep into genealogical research, and I haven't stopped since.
Today, my focus is specifically on helping Americans and Canadians trace their roots back to England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and Germany — not only identifying who your ancestors were in these places, but exploring the journeys that brought them across the Atlantic to start new lives in North America. I bring a genuine, hands-on familiarity with record systems in all of these countries, and I'm currently deepening my expertise in English and Welsh archives through accredited coursework.
What draws me to this work is the overlap of three lifelong interests: history, storytelling, and travel — and I believe a family's past deserves to be researched with rigour, told as a story, and walked in the places it happened, not simply viewed as a set of names and dates on a chart.
